Testers needed for Mac 1.3.13 Alpha to resolve bug fixes

Any volunteers to help test 1.3.13 Alpha on Mac (the latest "nightly" build at the bottom of
this list )?
This is important so we can confirm bug fixes made are actually working OK on Mac.
To test, please view the Release Notes or Steps to Reproduce in the bug.
If you have a Bugzilla account please post comments in the bug, otherwise here. Anyone who would like a Bugzilla account, please ask.
Your help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Gale

<<<except for Bug 196 which just needs to import about 30 MP3s,>>>
And the person who found this bug left 30 MP3s posted conveniently on-line, right?

No, they wanted to save your bandwidth. Instead, launch Audacity, Generate > DTMF (Duration 300 seconds, Duty cycle 85%), then Analyze > Silence Finder, Export Multiple as MP3 and import them all back. Or something equally inventive that fills up the history.
And while the Mac elves are testing, I'll answer the Forum questions for them instead.

I created all my MP3 clips and it got too late to continue. What's supposed to happen to the history and what's broken? I've never looked in there.

As it says on the
Bug 196 report, before the fix if you imported 30 MP3s then clicked View > History, the program would be non-responding for two or three minutes while trying to populate the history. It was certainly like that on Windows. Thanks for your help.

That's not how it works on Macs.
20100810
Mac Mini 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo
Tiger OS-X 10.4.11
Audacity 1.3.12
I imported 35 MP3 files and opened up history and they were all there and listed. The program did not halt, slow, or become unresponsive. I closed History and did 20 plus edits -- small deletions, Control-L make silence, etc. Opened up History and all the actions were listed as near as I can tell, in good order. I went back and did more edits.
The program at all times took two seconds to respond to a SpaceBar play and stop. I assume with that many clips, that's just the processing overhead. Actual editing on a single timeline out of the bunch didn't seem to have that delay.
Did you actually have any Mac complaints about this particular bug?

Thanks for testing. No, the complaints were on Windows. Yes I think the play delay is expected and it would become worse or
crash if you had 70+ files. Speed of opening history is what we're testing. The fix for that was global, not Windows specific, so could you just import those 35 MP3s into the latest
1.3.13 Nightly build on Mac and see if history responds just as fast? All the bugs need testing in the Nightly, not the 1.3.12 Release.

I was out in the wild for a few days, but back home now, so I'll do some testing later today and I'll let you know about those bugs.

I got the fileset for the last one. You should probably deal with one of the others if you feel like it. The more complicated ones are rough for me because I never use any of the more complex tools. I never know if Audacity is broken, or I'm using the tool wrong.
Step one: Learn how to use the tool correctly.
Step two: Recreate the failure.

Yes. I understand that. I was wondering if the History was broken before I tried to test it. In Windows, it's clearly a fix. Waiting minutes for the machine to come back is clearly wrong. It may never have been broken in Mac.
