Recording more than one track

Post by Stratman » Sun Feb 24, 2008 8:28 pm

I am kinda new at this stuff even though I play semi-professionally. I laid down a "scratch" rhythm guitar track just to see what this would do, before I go in a lay it down in earnest. I then wanted to go in and lay a second track(solo) at the appropriate time so that I could then combine them/layer them.
I have both 1.2 and 1.3.3 on my Mac (OS 10.3.9) and recorded this in 1.3.3. I looked for written "manuals" on Audacity to give instructions, but could not find one. Perhaps I overlooked it.
If someone can tell me how to do this and where I could find a reliable manual/Help guide, I would appreciate it.
Thanks :D

You'll find lots of usful info at: http://audacityteam.org/help/

There is a manual there, and you should find the tutorials useful too. The wiki has tons of useful stuff as well.

BTW: you have posted two copies of this, both on this section of the forum - can you try to delete the other one.
