Just an update: 1.3.11 (Jan 1st build) does have the fix for the 'falter & restart' bug in iTunes. I also subscribed to the announcement email list.

Next I'll try to figure out how to use the silence finder as a way to speed up locating and spiting the tracks and then Pop & Click removal.

Thanks again for the help!

Randy

It may be better to look at those in the reverse order. The silence finder works a lot better after clicks and pops have been removed.
Good luck with your project ;)

Randy SBS,

yes I agree - I started out with an ION ITT-USB bought for the same "ease of use" in a single relatively portable unit that could be parked close to the PC - but I soon junked it when I found the lightweight plastic platter gave noticable wow&flutter.

What I did then was to dig my old Technics turntable out of the attic, gave it a home service and bought a small ART phono. pre-amp and and Edirol external soundcard. This is course is all the same "stuff" that was bundled in the ION - but better components. The results from this have been really good.

The spec and build of your AT TT look much better than the ION (should be - it costs a lot more) - interested to hear how you get on with it.
