Finished project, worked like a champ.

One question. Is there an easy way to find the end of song?

You mean you want to move the cursor in Audacity to the end?
On Windows it's the "END" key, so it will be whatever the Mac equivalent to that is.

You can also zoom in/out (magnifying buttons) so that you can see more or less of the track.
If you have a wheel mouse, Ctrl+mouse wheel will zoom (there is a Mac equivalent, but I don't use Macs).

@Steve, I suspect iew means how do you find the ends of the various songs in an LP transcription (I'm guessing at this from reading iew's posts.

@iew, you can try the silence finder but this doesn't always work too well for what you are trying to do (worth a try though). I would recommend using the zoom tools to zoom out (try fitting the whole project in thge window for a start) it is often possible to see each of the separate songs. If you are recording from an LP then the sleeve or inner label sometimes has track timings and these can help you finf the track gaps.

Or when you are recording an LP when a track gap appears click on CTRL+M (sorry I realize thats Windoze-speak - I thing it's Apple+M in Mac-speak) to set a marker (basically a label) at that point.

Silence finder fails if there is no silence. Well worn LPs don't have silence.

To reach the end of a track, press the key "K"
To zoom to "Apple + Wheel mouse".

Silence Finder works much better after doing Noise Removal, at least with the cassette albums I've been recording from. Follow those directions, then try Silence Finder.
