The 1.26 worked well for me but wouldn't import MPEG4 files; so I like the new beta, but am having trouble exporting mp3. I get "write error on file () error 14: bad address" when I attempt to export the new file.
Any ideas are welcome

Re: bad address error 14 exporting mp3
Sorry for the necropost, but I'm doing it for a good cause.
I got this error today and I got around it by reducing the export mp3 format from my customary 256kbps to 128kbps. At the time I was attempting to convert a 22k-sample rate source file.
And I found this thread when I Googled the error.

This is all a bit up in the air yet, but rumor has it that there is a different version of lame than the one you probably have. Go back up to the lame page and make sure your version number and its version number match. I think the lame that used to work on 1.3.3 no longer works on the advanced Audacity versions.
