Audacity Quits Unexpectedly When Importing
We made two voice recordings on the program WavePad with the intention of moving the WAV file to a PC running Vista via flash drive. The WAV wouldn't open on the PC. We have been unable to export the file as an MP3 through WavePad (another headache) and I was hoping to be able to open it through Audacity (1.3.6 for OS X) and edit therebut Audacity repeatedly shows "has quit unexpectedly". Any help is appreciated and I'm sorry if this has been covered somewhere else, I couldn't find anything specific enough for computer illiteracy.

We should probably break this up into chunks to figure out which chunk is in trouble.
Pull down the six second Piano2.wav from here...

...and see if it loads and plays everywhere.
