Audacity Forum

When trying to export a .wav out as an mp3, I get a message saying : "Could not open MP3 encoding library!" I have been getting this message regardless of where I put the lame_enc.dll file. I am running Windows XP and Audacity is v.1.3.7.
Any ideas? I can export stuff as a .wav but I need it as a .mp3.

I have the same exact problem. . .and no solution,i noticed you haven't found one either. =[. How depressing. .
