Audacity Forum

Hiya. :]
Um, I kinda have a problem, I'm not sure if it's Audacity Unstable, or just in general, but here goes:
I have a new headset, Plantronics C-Wave Media Wave Device/USB Headset. And I think this happened before, with a different mic, too, but I'll continue now.
A few times, when I was recording Stereo Mix, my headset would just sorta die. Audacity would stop recording and no sounds were working. I tried switching to USB mode, and it worked, but I can't use Stereo Mix or Wave recording options with the USB variation.
And now, to make matters worse, it happens when I record just Mic audio, too! D:
I don't know if it's my sound card or not (and I have absolutely NO idea what model it is)
Any thoughts? :[ This is extremely annoying, because I just unplug and plug the jacks into the sound card; it'll give me the BSoD. :/

What are you trying to do and what kind of computer is it? Are Internet phone calls involved?

If I was going to buy your product, what would I be buying?
