File, Export window poping up behind Audacity window

I thought I should let someone know that when I select File, Export, whatever window commonly pops up is not displaying in front of the Audacity 1.3.7 window. It's displaying behind the Audacity window, and so you can't see it, and it appears as if the program is frozen, but it's not. Whatever window pops up is just waiting for the user to hit Enter, and once I do that, then the Export As window pops up find in front of the Audacity window. I'm running Windows Vista 64 dual dvi monitor setup; current version of LAME; pretty much out of the box setup nothing fancy. I've installed and uninstalled and rebooted etc etc, and the issue is repeatable always.

Thanks - I've seen a few reports of this and dual monitors seem to be the trigger for the problem. We'll look into it.

The window that is hidden is the Metadata Editor. It's also accessible via the File Menu but I think it will have the same problem accessed that way. If you prefer you can go to the Import / Export tab of Preferences and uncheck "Show Metadata Editor prior to export step".

This should be fixed now in our development code which you can try here, and the fix will be in the next 1.3.8 Beta.
