Hi folks,
I am still using Audacity 1.3 Beta (I plan to change to 1.3.7) but ...
Q1: Why would I get a "Hissing Sound" when I am converting from a MP3 (192Kbps) to WAV. My Original Source does not have a Hissing!
Q2: How can I avoid the newly intorduced Hiss?
Q3: When using the Metadata Editor ... why would it not keep the data that I have changed?
Thanks,
G!:)

Re: Hissing Sound MP3 to WAV (Audacity 1.3 Beta)
1.3.7 is the current Beta and earlier Betas are thus no longer supported. Please update to 1.3.7 then please give us exact steps from launch of Audacity (1,2,3.....) that always reproduce these two issues. In particular, where exactly is the metadata you entered not being retained, for example in the exported file, and if so, in what application are you playing that exported file?gonwk wrote:Hi folks,

Hi Gale,
I did go to 1.3.7. I have to test out a clip then I will post. I needed something done right-away so I used MP3TAG for now.
Thanks,
G!
