Compressed File is All Jumbled

I tried to upload something I made onto myspace and it said the file was too large so I tried to compress it and the darned thing keeps coming up jumbled, all the different tracks playing at the same time. How do I make it so this doesn't happen?

What?
You can't start us in the middle of the movie. We need that scene where Ilsa walks into Rick's Café the first time.
Describe the show. You were able to export it very nicely as a WAV file and that was too big so you did what? We live on specifics and detail.
