1.3.7: file export sometimes fails (creates small file)

Sometime on file export -> mp3 a very small file is created which does not contain the data

If I repeat the process then it works properly

also (on another point) 1.3.7 +the only lame it will work with seems to create larger size files than previously using standard preset

The old version would frequently (incorrectly) produce MP3's at 128kbps CBR when it was set to produce "Standard" quality (170-210 kbps VBR).
