This is very annoying

I am using vista, everytime i load audacity it just says "Audacity.exe has stopped working" and its not just with that it happens it happens on manycam too, most likely its something to do with my sound settings please help and dont tell me to delete audacity.cfg because for one its not in my appdata and 2 its not just audacity this problem occurs.... please help
