can't export multiple wav

I can't seem to export multiple songs into one folder as wav. It works fine if I do each individually as an mp3. I think that I followed all the directions splitting the recordings into separate tracks, etc. I got what should have been the final screen and had wav chosen as the format at 44100 rate. Nothing happened after hitting "export". This is on Audacity beta 1.3 and Vista.

You have a label track with labels in it?
You followed these instructions? http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php? ... ate_tracks

(note that labels will look different from those pictures - they are from Audacity 1.2)

Apologise for not getting back earlier but have had trouble getting into the forum. Yes, I followed those instructions (export pop up screen looks slightly different than that depicted. Maybe what I am expecting isn't correct. I thought that when I burned these tracks onto a cd I would have trave tracks with the labels and not just track 01, etc.
By the way I have been doing a lot of recording this last week and just wanted to report that 1.3 stopped recording a couple of times w/o any error message or anything. I missed that the recording cursor wasn't moving and only caught it when I tried to pause and then take out of pause to continue recording. Don't know if this should be sent to the developers as a possible bug. Never had it with 1.2.

The labels are specific to Audacity and do not directly affect how the exported files appear on the CD.

When you export multiple, there are various options for how the exported files are named. Many CD burning programs are able to use the names of the files to name the tracks, but only if both the program and your CD burner (hardware) support "CD text". "CD text" is not a standard part of the official audio CD format but is supported by quite a few computer programs. Stand alone CD players do not usually support CD text (you usually just get track numbers).

There is a small Java program - I think it's called something like "labels-to-cue" that is able to read the labels from an Audacity AUP file and create a cue-list that is compatible with some CD burners. You may find a link to it on the main Audacity web site.

We've all had that problem. There have been some server problems, which the Audacity team have little control over (shared hosting). The site administrators have hacked the forum software a bit to get it working again while they sort out a better long term solution.

Unless you can provide specific details about the exact circumstances of the problem it is probably not worth it at the moment. There have been a lot of bug fixes that have not yet worked their way through to the official release version. I would suggest that you just keep an eye on it for now and make sure that you Export your recordings promptly. I expect that Audacity 1.3.8 will be out pretty soon, so grab a copy of that when it is released.
