Lame download problems
I cannot download the Lame file from the page provided by links on Audacity. I get a page saying "403 Forbidden". I tried searching for it and have found versions that I am able to download. However, when I try using them I get an error message from Audacity saying that it is the wrong version and is not compatible. Any suggestions?

Audacity on Windows and Mac requires a LAME binary compiled by ourselves. On the buanzo site for LAME or FFmpeg download, you have to left-click the links, not right-click and "save as".jthewolff wrote:I cannot download the Lame file from the page provided by links on Audacity. If there is still a problem, then Firefox or your firewall are set to block HTTP referrers (probably because of a feature to browse "incognito" or "anonymously"). You have to allow referrers to download from the buanzo site. To fix it in Firefox:
