AU: Dynamics Processor & Multiband Compressor for Windows?

I'm used to editing my podcast on a Mac using Audacity. My two favorite plugins are AU: Dynamics Processor and AU: Multiband Compressor. I have them down to a science. But now I'm out of town for a few weeks and I'm using Audacity on a machine running Windows Vista. Windows Audacity doesn't come with these plugins!!!! So are those two available for the PC or am I stuck using something else?

AU: Dynamics Processor and AU: Multiband Compressor are Apple effects and are not a part of Audacity. I doubt that Apple have ported them to Windows.

However, there are various open source dynamic compressors available for Audacity. My favourites are Steve Harris's SC4, and Chris’s dynamic compressor. Just Google for them.

thanks for letting me know. i wish that there were windows versions of these effects. i'm really fussy about compressors because interface makes all the difference to me. as for the dynamics processor, i think it has a terrific ability to specifically target when used as a gate. not that other effects can't do that, but again, the interface is great.
