Having trouble reintalling Audacity.
"error creating registry key: hkey_local_machinesoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionuninstallaudacity_is1"
"RegCreateKeyEx failed; code 5"
"access denied:

What is the problem? Audacity does not show up in the add/remove programs and there is no uninstall in the program files...please advise

If you installed Audacity by double-clicking a downloaded .exe file, you should have (and will need if you want to uninstall) unins000.exe and unins000.dat in the Audacity installation folder. But if you want to reinstall, you don't need to uninstall first. Simply reinstall from the .exe to the same installation folder. You will probably need to be logged in as an administrator to install programs. If you do not have admin rights, simply download and extract the files from the Audacity 1.3.6 zip instead, which does not perform any installation. You can get the zip here - scroll down to "Optional Downloads".
