Clean Speech

I am a new user to Audacity 1.3.6 Beta and I somehow got myself stuck in the Clean Speech mode and I can no longer import audio or use a microphone. HELP!

Click on the Edit menu and select "Preferences"
Go to the "Interface" tab and de-select Clean-Speech mode.
