Audacity Forum

I've tried both stable and beta versions. I install Audacity, and when I try to run it nothing happens. Under Processes in Task Manager, it shows that audacity.exe is running, but I do not see the program. I have Windows Vista Home Premium running. I've tried fixing the compatibility to Windows Xp, that doesn't work either.

Check in the Windows Control Panel that you have a recording source available.
When you have an available recording input, find the file "audacity.cfg" and delete it.
Now try and run Audacity 1.3.x
