Hi. How do I extract audio from a music dvd using the latest audacity(1.3.6)?

The painful way is to rip the DVD into the transport stream MPEG2 files, then demultiplex the sound files and decode them into WAV format.

Or you can set your computer to record "What You Hear" and record the speaker or headphone signal during DVD playback. Some computers lock out this path during playback..

Or you can take the RCA outputs from your DVD player and connect them to the Line-in on your PC - play the disc and record in Audacity ...
