Ok - so in 1.3.6 we have the natty little nested dropdown segmented lists of Effects - but where oh where is the Repair effect.

I can't see it anywhere - am I missing something? Has it been dropped from the functionality?

It's one of the most important editing tools that I use .....

Hi Koz,

thanks for that (saves me going back to 1.3.5 just for the odd Repair ....)

I note from a subsequent posting by Gale that the actual layout structure of the effects may well change - what they put in 1.3.6 was just experimental - so just beware in later releases (actually IIRC you are trying 1.3.7 - is the Effecsts layout the same there?)

I do have an install of 1.3.7 under Leopard, OS-X 10.5.5, yes. I just needed the excuse to go out and buy Leopard and install it somewhere. I also have a separate partition on the same drive with Leopard and 1.3.6. The main machine is still under Tiger and features 1.2.5 (Intel version) and 1.3.5 which I kind of like.

Leopard was the first time Apple got very serious about upgrades and patches. I installed it and told it to go look for patches and didn't get the machine back for several hours. And I did two installs....

Good thing I have two machines.

yesss.. even good ol' iTunes can take a fair old while to upload and install an update.

And yes two machines is good in that circumstance - I'm glad I have the laptop as well as the desktop so Apple can grind on them at different times.
