I have several old files and they have been relocated. Now that I want to play them back again I can't, I've tried to open them using Audacity but Windows says that the files can't be opened using this program and asks me if I'd like Windows to search for a suitable program to replay them in... Can I just change the file type in order to get them to play? What must I do...? and how can I put them back into a folder that Audaucty will automatically locate and play them in...
Also before when I was using Audacity I noticed that when it saved files it saved them in broken pieces smaller file pieces and when I wanted to play them back it meant allot of editing for me to cut and paste the files back together, am I doing something wrong?
Aud Files can't be played!

Re: Aud Files can't be played!
You can't move parts of a Project. It's one of the downsides of the way Audacity saves Projects.
