Sirs,

I could not download your Windows version of your program. Actually tried both versions and neither would download. I then had my computer check by a very good tech friend who stated my computer was fine and the problem had to do with the website. Can you help me out........to download your basic version for Windows?

Are you downloading from the right place? This is the official Audacity site : http://audacityteam.org/

I run XP-Pro and have downloaded both 1.2.6 Stable and 1.3 Beta version with no problems.

You may need to be logged in as an administrator - do you have administrator privileges?
