Hello.
Here is my problem: My Audacity got error and fell down and my file.aup (project file) is broken and I can't load it but there are lots of *.au files in folder of project.
Can I join every au file to another and make whole song complete? Or can I make aup (project file) from AU (audio files in data folder)?
I will be happy if there will be any easy way to complete that files to one song...
Thanx a lot and sorry for my poor english...
btw: that file folder means nameofproject_data/e00/d00/ -> lots of files like "e0000a9b.au"...
Problem: Program fell down and I lost my aup..

Re: Problem: Program fell down and I lost my aup..
Manually restoring an Audacity project is a lot of work and often fails, but it can sometimes work.
See here: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php? ... shRecovery
Do we know why Audacity "fell down"? Have you got plenty of free disk space? If you have run short of disk space then you will need to make some free space before you try to fix the project. Audio recording uses a lot of disk space.

That link returns a formatted but empty wiki page at 11:23 AM Pacific.
Somebody cleaning up the wiki entries?
Anyway, we used to tell people you just couldn't do it at all, but then some programmer wrote code that would sort the AU files by creation time and date and, I think concatenate them into a single file. I'm looking to see if I kept notes on that.

...or is that what the wiki entry was?

Updated link for "Crash Recovery" in the Audacity wiki:
http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php? ... shRecovery
(also changed previous link - no point having bad links)

Somebody was a busy pixie. Given the high MEGO factor (and your show is under 2G), that looks like it would work. You would have to be pretty dedicated, though, and want that crashed show pretty bad. People who couldn't get their lame version right need not apply.
I am heartened by the note that a lot of this is built into 1.3 and will certainly be a part of 1.4.
There is one text line near the middle of the web page layout that doesn't fold properly and it messes up the browser layout. It starts with the text...
"I played around with exactly how many bytes to tail ..."
There is missing a tag somewhere. If you shrink your browser window, all the wiki lines of text auto-fold to new lines but that one.
