Gverb - permenantly change default settings?

I'm wondering if there's a way to permenantly change the gverb default settings? I *do* have settings I always use, and it'd be wonderful if I didn't have to change the defaults every time. (Or, alternately, is there a non-vst [never had any luck getting the vst bridge to work - Audacity just crashes on opening] reverb plug-in that would give me that ability?)

As far as I know, G-Verb always returns to its default settings with no way of changing these defaults.
You may like to add a suggestion to the Adding Features to Audacity section of this forum.
