Noise Removal duplicates whole track

Hi,
Just installed the latest 1.3.6 (Program build date: Oct 24 2008) and the Noise Removal tool seems to have developed a problem. I get the noise profile from a section, select all and apply the filter. After much thinking, the entire track is duplicated at the end of the initial selection. Have I changed something somewhere or is this an issue?
Cheers.
Duncan

Very odd... been trying to pin it down, I initially assume it was due to the length of the audio tracks (90 minutes) but after trimming it down to just seconds it still went wrong. Saving and reloading the file made no difference, but staring from importing a wav or flac was fine.
Now I've finally worked out the problem -if you have a label track, the Noise Removal plugin creates a duplicate of the selected audio! No idea why that should be the case; but I'll just have to remember to do the noise removal before setting down the labels for exporting to individual files.

Sometimes you can get around wacky 1.3.6 problems by trashing your audacity configuration file. I'm not totally sure where it is on a Windows machine, but you can search for that. audacity.cfg is the usual suspect file name.

There is a new function in Audacity 1.3.6 called "Linking".

In certain situations this can cause peculiar bugs like this. The workaround is to switch off linking by clicking on the link button so that it is not depressed (near the zoom buttons).
