Problem with Audacity Unstable

Okay so here's the story:
I was recording my voice (practically singing) one night. Then, I was kind of wriggling in my chair because I'm hyper when I accidentally kicked my CPU's Restart Button. Then, of course it said first "Do you want save the changes you made to blah blah blah?" Since my PC's uber fast when it Restarts, I wasn't able to save it. So then, when I reopened my PC, I tried using Audacity. Then, suddenly, it won't open. I tried using the shortcut key of Maximize but sadly, it still won't work. So, I opened a folder. When I used the Alt+Tab to switch between windows, I found the description of Audacity like this: Automatic Crash Recovery. So I ended up Uninstalling it and Reinstalling it. However, when I reinstalled it, it says now "This program needs Unicode and requires Windows NP/2000/XP." So, I uninstall then reinstall. But still, it won't work >.< So, I downloaded Audacity Stable and I figured out it worked. But when I tried for the last time to open Audacity Unstable, it still won't open. By the way, I am using Windows XP.
Then, my friend told me there's something wrong with the registry. So, I went to your forums and found a solution. However, I ended up deleting the folder of Audacity Unstable (because my PC was a bit crazy last night). Then, when I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it again, the Audacity (Unicode) Beta Folder in my Application Data was not there anymore >.< Please help? Thanks!
