Burn CDs
Using Vista7, Win.media player 11, USB turntable. Download track from vinyl records, export (WAV) to Media Player library. Can play but will not burn (cannot determine length of file). Previously worked fine. After playing on Med. Player still will not record track length. What did I do to stop recording track length?

Re: Burn CDs
Music CDs are limited to 78 minutes of show. It's fixed. If you compress the show to get more on, you will only get a really bad sounding 78 minute show.
If you open the file back up in Audacity, it should tell you the length.
Right-Click the file > Properties > Advanced it should tell you all about it, sample rates, length, etc.

Re: Burn CDs
Thanks for quick reply, Koz. After posting the question I (next day) tried again. It worked as it should. Don't know what's different. The total time I tried to burn to disk was less than 10 mins. The track that wouldn't burn was 2.24. As the king of Siam said, "Is a puzzlement". If problem recurs I'll call for help again.
