Unable to save projects

I am unable to save projects and also unable to export them as MP3s. I have never had this problem with Audacity till today.

Please be more specific. Why are you unable to save projects or export? Are the menu items greyed out? If so, are other menu items greyed out?

O.K. I think I see what was going wrong. I had a question mark at the end of the title the project and it wouldn't export. I removed the question mark and now I am able to save and export the project
