I'm unable to get Audacity 1.3.x (Beta) to recognize the Stealthplug as a recording devise. My initial use for the Stealthplug was/is for Raw Talent Guitar (which i would not recommend) who from request suggested Audacity for recording. I ran this problem by them, and their advise was i simply needed to 'tell' my computer and Audacity that i planned on using the Stealthplug as my input devise. I've exhausted myself unplugging, plugging-in, starting, restarting, opening, closing, clinking edit>preferences>devises and still no USB option. If someones any advise, please i'm begging, respond slowly, as if you were speaking to a mental-infant. thanks.

Ensure that the Stealthplug is connected to the computer and recognised by Windows before you open Audacity.
Then launch Audacity and look in the recording input section of the Device Toolbar and see if there is a USB option.

This may not have been a good match for you. It seems there is a lot of hands-on that needs to be done to get it to work. That and it's an old product.
