I'm a first day novice playing with multiple track recordings via microphone. The first track seems fine. then next hardly audible and flawed. Could this be a funky download or operator error?
I have 1.3.14-beta on my Windows 7, 64 bit os.

It could be Windows trying to help you.

See if you have Windows conferencing services running and turn them off.
