I just purchased a USB Turntable and d/l latest Audacity. My PC does not have RCA inputs for the turntable. Can I use a "Y" connector to Mic jack? i.e. RCA to Stereo Minijack?

No, and you don't need the RCAs at all. USB turntables work completely in the digital world by digitizing the stereo sound right in the turntable and then sending the digital bitstream to the computer. Plug in the turntable and then launch Audacity. Click in the Device Toolbar and look for a USB Sound Device.

If you insist on doing this the hard way with analog distortion and extra expense, then yes, there are ways to use the analog cables. If the USB service is damaged, then that may be the only way to do this.
Remember you didn't buy the turntable to leave to your grandchildren. You bought it to transfer your records and then throw it out. These are not monuments to high quality. Sometimes they fail a little too soon.

If you use the USB connection, and then you don't need an analog connection. 
No, you can't use the mic input. But, if your computer has a line-input, you can use that cable/adapter to connect it. (This is a bit of an assumption... "Regular old" turntables require an RIAA equalized phono preamp, but most USB turntables have the preamp built-in and the RCA connections are line level (like the output from a CD or the audio from a DVD player).Can I use a "Y" connector to Mic jack? i.e. RCA to Stereo Minijack?
