Hi all
I have recently changed to a Windows 7 PC but cannot get my Ion iTTUSB turntable to record via Audacity.
Previously it worked OK on my XP box. Audacity version is 1.3.13-beta.
Settings in preferences are:
DEVICES TAB:
Host: MME
Playback: Speakers (Realtek High Def)
Recording: Microphone (USB Audio CODEC)
Channels: 2 (Stereo)
RECORDING TAB:
Software Playthrough: Checked
An example of the horrible noise that is being recorded is attached. Any advice or suggestions gratefully received.

Re: Problems recording from Ion turntable
Is that the only sound that is recorded, or is that the background noise of your recording?

Hi Steve.
That is the only output I get.

That noise sounds like power supply interference. If your computer is a laptop the noise will probably go away if you run it on batteries.
