Bulk conversion from “.aup” projects to the FLAC format

Post by Robert2 » Wed Feb 22, 2012 6:59 pm

Hi,
Is it possible to export several “.aup” files (Audacity Projects) to the FLAC format in batch processing mode from the command-line (or the GUI)?
Thanks in advance.

Audacity does not provide any means for batch converting projects. The idea is that you work on the Audacity Project, then finish by Exporting the audio file.
There is some information in this topic about controlling Audacity with external scripting: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 21&t=63170

I do this a lot but needed to create a custom build of Audacity. Look at this thread:

for details. If this sounds like something you want to explore let me know and I will help you.
