strange delays in 1.3.14

Hello,
I've recently moved from 1.3.12 to 1.3.14. Since then I've been experiencing strange short delays for any action I do on a track - whether it's cutting a section, removing a track or applying amplification, there's an annoying 2-3 second delay before the action occurs and Audacity is responsive again.

I'm running Win7x64.

Check that your anti-virus program is not interfering.
