New user of Zennox

About a year ago i purchased through the newspaper a ' Zennox Tape to Digital Converter'. The idea is to transfer all those old cassette tapes to the computer and ultimately burn new CDs. It came with a handy User Guide. However, when i start i find that the Audacity program won't work. I search the Audacity site and realise that the instruction manual that accompanied the Zennox was written for Vista and won't work for Windows 7 so i download the Beta 1.3 version and delete the first version off my computer. But the problem for me is that i do not know how to configure Audacity to take in this device. The booklet cannot help I trawled the Audacity site and cannot even find reference to a device of the type i bought.

I assume that the settings for Control Panel will remain the same no matter which version i use but it is the Audacity settings that fox me.

Maybe i just throw the device in the bin. I could try the manufacturers but this Audacity site seems so busting with nerds that i felt one of you may have some idea of what i should be doing (other tan reaching for the bin!)
