RECORDED TOO LOUD
Can I fix an audio track that was recorded too loud? It has a horrible echoing sound when the guy is speaking.
Re: RECORDED TOO LOUD
Some recording problems need to be avoided in the recording stage as they can't be repaired later.
Recording something too loud will cause "distortion" and it will sound "crunchy and crackly". This is almost impossible to repair.
A "horrible echoing sound" is usually a different (but also impossible to repair) problem that is described here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/FAQ: ... hancements
