hacked sound?

Hi.
I am new to audacity and it seams like a verry good software.
BUT.
Sometimes it sounds good and sometimes it sounds bad when i record.
listen to the bad, attached.
why?
Tryed allot in my settings, but no go!

You're using some sort of USB audio device?

You mean that you are using the "What U Hear" option for the internal sound card in your computer?
If you have a microphone plugged into your computer sound card, use the
Device Toolbar to select the "Mic In" option as the recording device.
The "juddery" sound is because some part of your computer is unable to keep up with the amount of data from the sound card that needs to be written to the hard drive.
First, try setting the recording device as just described. If the problem persists you'll need to work through the suggestions on these pages:
