Audacity slows down my mouse
In Windows 7x64, opening Audacity (latest beta) slows down my mouse to a crawl. The mouse stays slow after closing Audacity, and the only remedy is to reboot. I haven't experienced this problem with any other software.

You posted in the Audacity 1.2 Windows board, so I moved this to the 1.3 Board.
You may want to check at Help > About Audacity if you do have the latest Beta, which is 1.3.14:

Have you opened Windows Task Manager and seen anything unusual like 100% CPU usage?
What is the make and model number of the mouse?
