Recording Problem
From time to time, I have run into this problem, but I can not remember how to respong. When I try to record, I get this message, : "Error while opening sound decice. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate." Well, the unput device is working. Any suggestions?

What is the input device? USB microphone?
Sometimes you can force it to work by changing Audacity Preferences to 44100, 16-bit (not 32), Stereo. OK and restart Audacity. See if that helps. If you have a USB microphone, you might need to select Mono instead of Stereo.
Make sure Audacity Preferences or the input drop-down menu has the thing selected that you want.
