I just got a Numark PT-01 turntable and have downloaded a bunch of music only to find that some pops and clicks are seemingly impossible to remove or diminish. Ive pretty much given up on trying to clean up my 78's with Audacity but Im also having trouble with my LP's. I can take out the background noise with much success and clarity but then the clicks and pops are more exposed. I cannot seem to get rid of them. There are too many to use the draw tool and do them manually. I have been able to silence them but then the whole song gets distorted. There has got to be a way to fix this. There are minor scratches but it shouldnt make THIS much noise. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks

I use Audacity for most of my LP processing - but for the click removal I use Brian Davies' excellent ClickRepair - it costs a little at Aus$40 but is wull worth it IMHO especially if you jave a lot of LPs to process. See this sticky thread: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1994
