The problem is that your computer is having trouble keeping up with the amount of data. There are a number of suggestions on this page that you can try: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Manag ... nd_Drivers

but why is it only my 2nd and forth recording tracks? I could record a 2nd track for 1/2 second, stop.. and do a third one and that third one would work fine..

Although this time.. my 2nd and 5th tracks messed up.. so did 6 and 7 though, so you might be onto something

A reasonably modern computer should be able to do 6 or 7 tracks with ease, but the default set up for Windows is designed for running spreadsheets and the like, not for running a recording studio. To get decent audio performance it is often necessary to do a few tweaks and optimisations. See how you get on when you get the USB mic and if you still have trouble give a shout and we'll see if we can help you to get the thing running better.

I went to audacity 1.26 (not beta) and it seems to be working great.. beta is a lil better though possibly (besides my audio recording ability lol), for the multi track ability and yellow syncing lines and stuff.. later!
