So, I downloaded Audacity today and had no idea how it works. I was recording my own songs over instrumentals and then i clicked on Effect > Vocal remover [center panned ]. After doing that, now when I record my songs they are really loud and my voice isn't audible to me. Help me in this fix.
I even re-installed the software but it has the same effect.
I just want the default back, how can I get it ?

Installing Audacity fresh doesn't install Audacity fresh. Your preferences and settings are held in a separate file. You can change this file manually and simulate starting Audacity from First Birthday.
