Tape2UsbII can't record no sound

Tape2UsbII can't record no sound

I just got a Tape2USBII and have downloaded the newest update but after hooking everything up I can not hear any sound as I try to record a tape to computer and I can not see any recording going on???

Start again from scratch by reading these steps:
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/USB_turntables#setup

(the steps apply to USB cassette decks just the same as turntables).

Once you have input waves recording in the track, click Transport > Software Playthrough in Audacity to listen to the recording while you make it.
