I have just connected a new Bush USB turntable to my computer, win7, and installed the latest version of Audacity.
I cant seem to get the audio working.
The only time i can hear any audio is if i click on record, even then there is a high pitched buzz in the background.
Ive read the wiki page and the advice it gives does not match the version of audacity im using, the directions it give for going into preferences do not match.
Ive tried changing the sound input/output options around with the options available but nothing helps.
Ive googled the problem but the few similiar questions ive found others asked have not helped with my issue.
Am i missing something obvious, can anyone help.
Hope everyone is having a less frustrating christmas.
Thanks.

Which version are you using? (look in the Help menu > About Audacity)ianzombie wrote:Ive read the wiki page and the advice it gives does not match the version of audacity im using
For Win 7 you should have Audacity 1.3.14 (Unicode) which is available here: http://audacityteam.org/download/

And once you have 1.3.14 have a read of this set of tutorials from the 1.3. manual: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Tuto ... iscs_to_CD
