When I export files to WAV, I receive the Metadata file dialog box which I complete with the song information. However, when I move the songs into Windows Media Player the Metadata does not appear. Is there a step that I am missing? Currently, I fill in the information asked for and hit the "OK" button. Should I be doing something else? Thanks.
Using: 1.3.13

Many thanks, Steve.
Do you know of any burn software that does support metadata in WAV files and produce this data on the burn CD?
Again, thank you.

Re: Export to Burn CD; Metadata Files, How Do I Embed In WA
Normal audio CDs do not have track information on the disk. Playing CDs on a computer can give the impression that that is not the case because often you can put a commercial CD into a computer and when you play the CD the media player displays the track title and artist information. However, what is actually happening is that your media player is looking up the track information (usually on line) from a Compact Disc Database.
An extension of the audio CD specification allows a feature called "CD Text". If your CD writer and CD burning software support this feature you can add track information when you make the CD. I think that CDBurnerXP can do this and Nero certainly can.
