cursor control for editing waveform

Post by organgrindersmonkey » Wed Dec 21, 2011 5:10 am

Is it possible to control the cursor manually so I can move it backwards and forwards slowly over the wave form whilst hearing sound so that I can pin-point a noise extremely accurately?

Thanks

No. That is called "scrubbing" and Audacity will not do that.
