Hi
I am new to this forum and I am having problems with the above.
I recently purchased a new computer and installer audaciy beta and tried to record a mix from my decks last night using the UCA202. I did everything I did with my previous laptop and the sound quality was awaful. I have tried a few things this morning and if Iisted to the sound input through headphones attached to the UCA 202 then the sound quality is perfect, but if I stop recording and play back then it sound poor i.e too much bass, mid, high etc. I have turned the gains right down and the bass to zero and it sounds ok but I never had to do this with my previous laptop and I could leave the gains at a normal level.
I am not a expert with audaicty so anyone's advice would be appreciated
Many thanks
Chris

Laptop, right?I recently purchased a new computer
Switched to "Monitor," right?the sound input through headphones attached to the UCA 202
You're not recording the UCA202. On a guess, I'd say you were recording either the built-in microphone or Mix-Out. Both of those will give you terrible sounding music.
Reset in Windows Control Panels.

Re: Behringer UCA 202 Issues
Hi Koz
Ive sorted the problem, the line in volume was set to the max, so I ensured that the UCA device was selected and changed the line in volume to a lower level and the quality is so much better.
Thank you for your advice.
