-- Right Click Start > Explore > Right Click Local Drive C: > Properties (Used, Remaining)
You should maintain at least 10% free space on your hard drive. You can't record and save shows forever. Sooner or later, your internal storage -- your hard drive is going to run out.

I'm exporting it into a file on my desktop, I've tried exporting it to different locations and changing the name of the file and it still gives me the error. File name is 'cheynestokesVOCALS'

Re: Cannot Export
For Vista and Windows 7 you should be using Audacity 1.3.14 but you have posted in the Audacity 1.2.x part of the forum.
Assuming that you are actually using Audacity 1.3.14:
Go to "File > Open Metadata Editor"
In the Metadata Editor click on the "Clear" button, then the "OK" button.
Then try Exporting.
If you are not using Audacity 1.3.14 then you should upgrade (you can check the version number in "Help menu > About Audacity")
Audacity 1.3.14 is available here: http://audacityteam.org/download/

Re: Cannot Export (SOLVED)
I apologize i must've clicked the wrong thread without paying attention, but thank you that did the trick!
Re: Cannot Export (SOLVED)
Glad you're up and running.
The cause of the problem is that some applications create invalid Metadata which libsndfile is unable to handle.
I presume that your project included one or more imported files that contained such invalid data.
By removing the metadata libsndfile is then able to export the audio correctly.
Topic marked as Solved and moved to the 1.3.x part of the forum.
