Amplitude Modulation

Post by shardin » Wed Dec 14, 2011 5:59 pm

Hi,
I wonder if you can help me by this. Perhaps is already there a plugin for doing this.

My purpose is to get a sound file (a music sound, for instance) that beats as per a frequency. I don't know if this is called amplitude modulation.
It is not the case to add a pulse tone to the music, but rather to convert the music in to a pulsating sound. If the frequency is 1, then the beat would be 1 per second. If it is 4, it would be 4 pulses per second. Also, the strenght of the pulse should be adjustable.

Many thanks in advance,

steve

That sounds like amplitude modulation.

I thought there was a plug-in available on the Nyquist Effects page, but it appears not. I'm sure I must have one somewhere - I'll get back to you shortly.

Ah yes, found one. Same effect but a different name.
Look in the Effect menu for "Tremolo..."
Does that do what you want?
